In this pedestrian accident the report indicated that the
victim, a 27 year old man, was leaving a coffee shop at
approximately 9:45 in the evening when he was hit and was
then dragged underneath the vehicle along the road. He
died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
The driver, 32 year old male, had been involved in another
accident earlier that evening. After the accident, an
angry group of men had approached the driver. The men
appeared threatening and one of them held out a metal rod.
The driver allegedly drove right into the group, hitting one.
This man only had minor injuries.
The driver then kept driving across the street and straight
into the driveway of the coffee shop. It took the police
several hours to track down the driver.
